On the 28th April we welcomed the students from Moorditj Noongar Community College to Henley Brook as we unveiled Wongin Park and the students' artwork for the very first time.

A project that has been over year in the making, from our early discussions with the Traditional Owners around the new project it was clear that acknowledgement and education were key themes we were all interested in addressing, and so – we reached out to Moorditj to assist with an art project that would become a permanent part of the history of the new masterplanned community.

We wanted to be able to tap into the location of Henley Brook and not only celebrate it, but also create a vibrant space for acknowledgement of Henley Brook’s rich culture and its long-standing connection to the Indigenous community.

We are so thrilled with the works and we look forward to continuing this relationship with Moorditj Noongar Community College and the wider community well into the future.
