Wongin Park Wins 2023 Australian Institute of Landscape Architects WA Award!
We are proud to share that Wongin Park has been awarded the 2023 Australian Institute of Landscape Architects WA Award for Parks and Open Space.
The vibrant park showcases a captivating playground, the Crooked Spire café, future community centre, and a trail of artwork that beautifully represents indigenous heritage, created in collaboration with students from the Moortidj Noongar Community College.
This space pays tribute to the rich culture and long-standing connection to the Indigenous community, while also establishing a new benchmark for acknowledging traditional custodians.
